Tangle Teezer
Tangle Teezer founder, Shaun P, had been working in prestigious hair salons for around 30 years, always battling with finding a way to untangle stubborn knots in a way that wasn't uncomfortable for clients. In 2003, Shaun had his lightbulb moment. Following an appearance on the UK series, Dragon's Den, and a journey along the learning curve, four years later, Tangle Teezer's detangling brush officially launched and has proved to be a timeless and ground-breaking invention ever since.
Tangle Teezer uses two-tiered patented teeth technology in its hair brushes, made up of flexible teeth to adapt to a multitude of hair types. Three flex types are used in their range of brushes, including regular flex, strong flex, and soft flex. The long teeth are designed to remove knots and detangle the hair whilst the short teeth smooth it, giving it a glossy finish.
Tangle Teezer's bestselling products include The Original, The Wet Detangler, and The Compact Styler, but they also have a number of products designed for thick, curly, and fragile hair types.
For any progressive consumer in the US, the sustainability of a brand is increasingly a high priority. Tangle Teezer reuses plastic from their manufacturing process which is put back into their hairbrushes, saving 125 tonnes of plastic from landfill last year. Their recycling initiative also allows Tangle Teezer customers to recycle their worn-out brush and upgrade it to a brand new one.
Take the dread away from brushing your hair with the range today at SkinStore, an official stocklist of Tangle Teezer products in the US.
